This workshop will be organized in the framework of the
IHP-network "Hyperbolic and Kinetic Equations: Asymptotics,
Numerics, Analysis" (www.hyke.org).
Its main emphasis will be on numerical methods and their applications
(stochastic particle and deterministic methods, relaxation methods,
asymptotically correct methods, e.g.). We are planing to arrange the
main talks around the three topics: semiconductor simulations, lattice
Boltzmann, and granular media.
